Hi,

I have been lurking for some time and decided to join. We are looking to move from Orange County to PA. We have been working with a realtor but wanted to get some feedback from people here. We have 2 boys ages 8 and 6.

We liked Oak Ridge Crossing in Dingmans. Does anyone know anything about the development? We hear that the Delaware Valley School District is nice but that Wallenpaupack is better. We have also looked at Hemlock Farms and Tanglwood North.

Can anyone here give us an information about Tanglwood North? We hope to move by May of this year and we are in the process of looking.

Thanks for any additional information that anyone can provide.

Hello and welcome! Oak Ridge is very nice, High Hat will provide you with some information on that, she lives there.
There's a big difference between developments like Tanglwood North and Hemlock. Really depends on what kind of ammenities you want, how much you want to do within the community, etc. Not much to do in Tanglwood North compared to Hemlock.
Good luck, you'll get some great info here!

Tanglewood North is very pretty and you can have a large lot. There are some restrictions though. You can't have a huge garage and some other things prohibited by the association. It's very woodsy also. Tanglewood is a quiet community that is near Lake Wallenpaupack. I am not sure about Hemlock so I can't compare the two. Tink Wig is another nice community with alot of newer homes being built. Hope this helps!

Default Pleasant Valley is a really good school system too!

I live in the Western End of the Pocono's, my child attends PV High school. That's what I looked for before moving here. So far so good, but Im going to be forced to sell soon because my DH job is relocating. It's shame, cause we put LOTS of money into this house!!!!
