Thanks, Hat...yep, I've got a snowblower that hooks on to the front of my tractor...so, it can be fun to use as long as the temps are above 20 or so.

I didn't realize snicker doodles were a local treat...I bet this is one local food we could ALL agree is a wonderful treat.

I never thought they were a "local" treat either. The recipe is in my Betty Crocker Cookie cookbook that I got about thirty years ago when I was a kid.

Merman, Was it snicker doodles or the marshmellows in between the chocolate?? I can't remember but one of them appeared to be a loca trend. Having a senior moment.

Co and Merman,

Come to think of it, the Hat has never had a snicker doodle.......but the other thing I was talking about are called "smores".

Just saw half a dozen deer make lovely tracks through my snow-laden back yard! I LOVE IT UP HERE!!

My kids have been home since noon - at their request, I made a big pot of cream of broccoli soup, done just in time, as my husband came home a bit early! No shoveling for me tonight!

Reading through the posts, now I have a hankering for hot chocolate! That'll be on my stove shortly, and we'll have that as we help my son make his valentines for his school party Thursday.

I'm in denial as to what this lovely snow is going to turn into overnight...
Happy thoughts, happy thoughts, happy thoughts...

Cathy

Ah, s'mores....well, that puts us back into stick-to-your-teeth territory. Let's save those for a citydata bonfire when the weather gets nicer.
