Talking Let It Snow

C'mon, be honest!! Who's out there today playing in the snow? It is just so lovely and pristine during a brand new snowfall. This calls for a cup of hot chocolate.

Cheers,

The Hat

I like the way you think, Hat. I was just looking outside thinking about how I don't want to deal with the driveway in the morning. A cup of hot chocolate may be just the thing.

A cup of hot chocolate would be great if you make it, MermanMike. I'd have to go out, shovel the snow, and then go to the market to get some.

LOL, MermanMike............always a great sense of humor. That's a deal. BTW, the first time I heard of snicker doodles was when I first moved up here by a lifetime resident of Shohola............I was clueless.........Please save me some and I will send the plow to do your driveway. PS: have a snowblower, I hope??

Snicker Doodles are wonderful cookies. You roll the dough into balls, then they are rolled in cinnamon and sugar before baking. They flatten out in the oven. They are the best and they are especially fun if you have some kids to help make them!

Thanks, greentown. I had to look it up, too and found a quite simple recipe on line. I might be able to make these today.

I got out of work a little early, and stopped to get the lunch special at the Chinese take-out for dinner, can't beat the price here in Hamlin, $4.25 with soup!! I'll worry about the snow tomorrow.....
