Maybe they should work out a deal with the company that bought the Brooks Building. They seem eager to invest.

Brooks Building sold for $1.75m - The Times-Tribune
A snippet:
Quote:
The Brooks Building in downtown Scranton has been sold for $1.75
million to a New Jersey real estate investor who has been taking a
closer look at Northeast Pennsylvania.
Frank Perretti, owner of Colts Neck, N.J.-based Brooks Realty Group,
purchased the eight-story building at 436 Spruce St. on Thursday from
Brooks Building II LLC, which is owned by Joseph Wright and Arthur Russo.
"I'm very interested in Scranton and building up the town," Mr. Perretti said.
"I think Scranton is going to take off in the next couple of years, and I
would like my (realty) business to be there."
Mr. Perretti, who owns several properties in Honesdale and has 32 years
in the real estate field, said he is looking to invest in other city properties,
as well.

After having the pleasure of dealing with Dickson City Hyundai I could not care what they do. I have recently had some issues with this dealership for a second time and if possible would not go back. Right from the time of financing and some apparently what seemed shady dealings to what we considered mis leading and terrible service / repairs.
We are researching this company and would like to invite anyone that had any dealings with this company to post them.

The building seems to be in pretty poor shape. The wall facing the
mall is falling apart; the brick needs to be repointed and is starting
to sag in spots. A pidgeon flew out of a hole in that side of the building,
a hole in the brick. The back side is filled with broken windows and a
door has been kicked in, making me think that there are most likely a
couple homeless people using it as shelter in the evening.

Avoid car dealership! I just filed a complaint because an elderly family member is now the owner of a vehicle that she didn't know she even bought while waiting for a repair.

I don't see how this is even possible, although I do agree that DC Hyundai should be shut down for questionable business practices. I bought two cars there and will NEVER go there again. I advise that no one go there to buy a car.
