So far, I've been happy with them...and we're 3/4 of the way complete.
At the very least, add them to your list of builders that you are considering.
Hope this helps.

Wallenpaupack Custom Builders are the best builders we have ever seen. They are great, easy accessible, call you back and do great work!!!! They are very busy as they are currently building about 10 homes!!

regardless of who you pick i would definately go the extra step and hire my own home inspector for a few hundred bucks to come in after every major stage and do an inspection for me. most people spend a few hundred thousand dollars on a home and never think of having the home construction inspected along the way.

Home Inspections are extremely important in new home construction... and are carried out by an inspection service at major stages..foundation, frame, mechanical rough-in...etc. All homes built in Pa. must be built according to the International Residential Code Book. In Monroe County of the Pocono's, these inspections are carried out by Guardian Inspection Service. If something is not to code, the inspection will not pass.

New home plans are submitted to the township first for approval, then need approval by Guardian..and then by the HOA, if building lot is located in a community. When Guardian comes to inspect at these major stages, you better have their approved, stamped plans on the building site...or it's a fail...

Usually, if a home is being financed, the bank may require an outside inspector. Sometimes, people who are building here, but live too far away to see the home being built may hire an outside inspector to be their eyes on the job...but I totally trust and respect all that Guardian Inspection Service does. This is still valuable advice, mathjak...it's important to protect our investments.

Wayne, are you not the gentlemen that runs the Pocono Commuter web site. Is not not true that Target Homes is one of your major sponsors. Sounds like you are breaking your own rule! Shame! Shame!

They are actually making a new website. Here is some help.
http://www.pinegrovehomes.com/ If you go to this website they have models that D&D use. Click on Pleasant Valley. My model is the Bridgeport. You have to click on tours and then you can see each model. Remember these arent complete, they dont have a porch, deck or garages attached. D&D does a complete job.

http://www.hideoutbest.com/new.htm You will also see some of their models on here but not a complete one.

They also have a few completed models in the Hideout. So if you want to see them you can. Call remax best.
