I was looking at the properties and I don't see any fences. I can't find the rules online. I like the idea of a community and I see good prices but I need a fence for the dog.

If you can't maybe you can put up a dog run like the ones they sell at Petsmart....they can be configured in 2 different ways...

It's weird that I can't find any rules online. No one seems to have fences unless they are electric and I'm not ok with that.

I'm not sure about Hemlock, but in The Hideout you are not permitted to have fences. They just recently approved electronic fences for dogs.

My friend asked on the fb page. A dissatisfied resident who seems to complain a lot said no but the official HF said yes but didn't elaborate. I don't see any listings with fences. I guess I can ask the agent tomorrow.

Update. You are allowed to have fences in HF. It just has to be a certain style like shadow box and a few others. The color has to be environmentally friendly which I assume means wood color. The permit is free and if it's in the front yard, it has to be 25 feet back. I'm very happy to hear this news.
