Looking to purchase a vacation home next year and I'm doing my research now. Any communities out there with taxes and dues combined under 3k? Is this price realistic? What other monthly expenses will I occur? Trying to create a budget and plan ahead since this will be my first home purchase. Thank you

Under 3k is tough i don't know if you'll find that. 4k would be doable, mine are a little over that.

I believe Carbon County taxes are less than Monroe. We're in Towamensing and really like it.

Is TT part of the Jim Thorpe School District? If so, taxes are going to go up. Potentially, astronomically.
