Well, I just thought I'd update everyone to let you know that the home has already sold after only a few days on the market. It's amazing how rapid the demand is for housing in the Pittston area nowadays. We're inevitably going to become the next booming suburb like the Back Mountain or Abingtons as this rate!

To add to this, if speed is important to you Comcast will start channel bonding this year to give you 150+ Mbps down (for a price of course). Comcast will also be dropping their analog channels next year which will free up LOTS of room for more HDs with less compression (better picture quality). However, cable is just two expensive for my taste.
The bottom line is, if you want video on demand and immediate service for an outage go with cable, if you dont care about interactivity (video on demand) and will survive if your tv service is out for a bit...go with satellite.

I'm not sure where Georgia wants to find a home at........but........when she comes back we should really try to find a few homes in her range, to give her to gaze at, don't cha' think?
I hope she lets us know her next arrival date. Sometimes it takes a Village......it really does.
I'd be glad to do some research on line to find some home listings for her.
For some reason, I just think sometimes a realtor doesn't zero in on what the person says is the ultimate importance to them. There should be a top ten list of what a buyer wants.....and it should be followed.
I think they take people to their listings they want to get sold.
Did you ever see them go by other real estate homes fast, so maybe you wouldn't want that one.......I definately have had that happen.
Anyhow..........I was just helping a person who wants to move to NJ and the next trip will be her "third" up to find a home.
Funny thing is the three listings we gave her, as she is heading back south. She loves!
So now another trip is in order for her to look into this unexplored area she needed to see. I hope Georgiato NE PA will post us again, when she is due to come.......

How cute! Their first City-Data forum squabble as a couple! Cherish these disagreements you two! My partner and I have been together now for over seven months and have yet to have one fight! It's so irritating! Maybe I'll pick a fight about never having a fight?! LOL!
P.S. My friends and I went to Frances Slocum State Park on Saturday when the weather was 70 and sunny. We hiked all sorts of trails and saw an otter, chipmunks, squirrels, a wild rabbit, geese, and then when we were almost back to my vehicle we saw EIGHT DEER!!!

I wonder if Josh was able to find that this weekend....he was up by the house exploring all day Saturday. I found Lake Louise though!! So, if we come up Campground road to the intersection with Upper Demunds (where that monster brick house with all the pillars is), would we make a left (towards Dallas High School) or a right to get to this park?

I'm actually not very familiar with this intersection, but if you live in that general part of Dallas than you're only a stone's throw away from the park. Dallas High School sits just off of Hildebrandt Road. If you're heading from the high school away from Route 309, you'll continue following Hildebrandt into the country for a short distance to a right at the stop sign onto Wyoming Road. Stay straight on this road, and it will turn into Mt. Olivet Road. You'll come up to the park entrance on your right perhaps a mile to a mile-and-a-half away, just past the intersection with Green Road. If you hit Mt. Olivet Cemetery, you've gone too far.

Wow that is great for the sellers. I hope you get good neighbors. We may be making an offer on a house and thinking of coming up again in May when is the Chocolate and Wine event ?
