Is anyone familiar with the block of S.9th st in westside? Also does anyone know what type of violations cause the city to condem a property?

Thanks...

There's not very many homes on 9th Ave. Its mainly a few office buildings, doctor's offices, etc. Although there is maybe a block or so of homes on 9th Ave, on the north side of W. Lackawanna Ave. That's also the block of the big fire last year in the Olde Good Things warehouse. Most of the homes by there are some run-down looking apartment buildings. Although I've never actually drove down that block, I can only comment on what I can see driving up W. Lackawanna Ave.

Buildings can be condemned for all sorts of things....unsanitary conditions, safety hazards, lack of heat/water, bad wiring, etc etc.

Thanks Mr.Krabs...I had to go back to L.I to handle some family business...my husband drove by the house and it was on a nice cute small block (small part of 9th st?)but the house needs more work then he wants to do. He said it was sad because all the homes around it are well cared for and owner occupied and then the house for sale is beyond being a dump. I feel sorry for the neighbors!!!!
