Glad to see YOU back as well John. Too many of you are "strangers" anymore. I don't see as much of you, Summering, memoriesbre, rockyy, and a few others as I used to. Lord only knows what happened to Pensypat, I LOVE PA, ScrantonVideoProductions, TheHighHat, and a few others, but I hope they're all doing fine as well. Stop drifting apart everyone! That's an order from the almight cranberry bog God! RAWR!

Cort.... ......Where you been?..........Well, I know that many of us have had emergencies. SWB........that was mostly my issue. Plus, driving time from SC......and now catching up with home things. I am still NOT unpacked!
This being Spring, or at least we T-h-i-n-k it is spring........there will be lots to do. I know many of us will now be out and about, exploring.
And.........the yard.........does not that take hours and hours of work.
Last year we got grubs in the yard.........it all had to be stripped, and then redone. All kinds of harmful stuff had to go down..............I know, I know......."green earth." But, I'd have a yard of circles getting bigger and bigger if I'd of let those varmits continue.
I just hope with this busy season, we all keep stopping in to catch up.....
Thats always fun to do. Much better then lookin' at Grubs, my golly

Oye, the grubs! I got 'em, too, Summering. Luckily we have a lot of bird activity in my yard & they eat a lot of the grubs - but they do a number on a beautiful lawn.
Has anyone else got spring flowers? A few of my daffodils have & they are a welcome sight!

I have to go look for the daffodils........SIL has parked the boat right by the embankment that I planted all the lillies and daffodils......Bah.......
Grubs........what a mess. And so many chemicals to rid them........YIKES.
But, big, big circles were gaining ground..........
The bird didn't do a good job at getting them. I think I gave them to much bird food........they were full

HighHat...yes...I was thinking how I miss her presence... if you are out there say hell sometime...
ever consider guinea hens? i know it would not be everyone's cup of tea...can be noisy...and a bit of work...but they are great with eating all the strange critters crawling around in the yard...especially the ticks which i think of with my dog running outside all the time, and i do not like to use the tick poison on him
