One thing I've noticed that is strange ... every year around this time I see seagulls in shopping center parking lots in our region. I don't know if anyone else has seen this? I was just wondering why this is? Since we're not near the ocean it a little strange.

Yes....thank Louie DeNaples and his garbage empire for the seagulls. They follow the garbage trucks in from NY and NJ.

They follow the garbage trucks from NJ and NY to Alliance and Keystone Landfills. This is nothing new, they have been in my area since Keystone opened.

Aw, that's a bummer! I thought there was some scientific reason they came here. We must have some tasty garbage.
