Great idea -- a place for young people to ride and be "contained" and off the streets. I'm for it . Where's the "North American Warhorse" ?

Warhorse is in Dunmore, just off the Tigue Street exit of I-84, not far from the Holiday Inn.

The DeNaples have always been great about letting people ride there.
Its funny that this topic came up because my wife and I were just talking about getting quads for ourselves so we could ride with our 9yr old son(he has a 90). My neighbor who just passed away from ALS had them for years and I used to bring him down the field at the end of the block to ride before he passed away, but his wife has since let them go.
It was the one thing he loved to do and in the end they bought him a sit inside buggy so that we could drive him thru the woods and take him out with his kids right up till the end. Its just a great way for families to spend a day.

I wish they would put one close to the W-B area. I am so tired of listening to the noise next to my house all summer long. Well, they are out in the winter too, but not as much. I see kids as young as 8 riding them around. It really gets on my nerves because when they get hurt the parents are suing the property owner. I am just waiting for one to come flying through my fence. I know they are fun but also very disturbing when you are trying to relax and there a a few quads and dirt bikes constantly going up and down the road. Maybe it's because I am getting cranky in my old age. LOL.

I don't mind the noise or letting people have fun, especially considering most neighbors in my development own ATVs, but they do NOT belong on public roadways! I'll never forget the one evening coming home from work when I nearly clipped a quad going the wrong way down the shoulder of Highway 315 as I attempted to pull into my subdivision's entrance. They looked at ME as if I was in the wrong?! Greater Pittston, being only 15 minutes from either Scranton or Wilkes-Barre, might actually be the ultimate location for an ATV park. It would draw in hundreds of riders.

i would be VERY interested to know where you heard that.
There was paragon adventure park in hazleton, but some local politicians and land owners decided to screw the business out of their lease to build an airport. To the best of my knowledge that failed.
There is rausch creek a bit south on i-81.
But, when it came down to it i moved to arizona for my hobbies. Here i can make a few modifications to make a quad street legal, put a lift on my truck and responsibly use hundreds of thousands acres of public land to four wheel.

Excellent! [said with evil Smithers voice] Now all we have to do is find out what block SWB lives on and start building it!

The general public, if you have to live by one of these places.......goes crazy.
The noise could drive a home owner crazy.
Some people in SC were writing the editor about the constant comotion.........
An awful lot of kids were getting killed on them too. One young girl died in SC this past winter .........its all to common now.
It really would have to be out in the boondoggles.........and then I'd worry about all those trees and fast and careless drivers.
