Hi All!

I'm back again with a few more questions. We are looking now at the Hideout and Hemlock Farms communities. I would like to know if anyone knows first, are there reputable animal hospitals near either community? We have 4 pets and want to make sure that we are not too far from a good medical care for them. Also, I have visited some other communities and was surprised to learn that there wasn't too many places to hike with our dogs. Can anyone who lives in either community tell me if there are some kind of hiking or walking trails in either community?

Thanks all!

There are 3 vet hospitals around the lake region. Wallenpaupack Vet, Hamlin, and Cherry Ridge. I've gone to Wallenpaupack and Cherry Ridge and prefer Cherry Ridge. There's also a vet in the hideout I believe that makes house calls.

Here's a past thread with this info:

Veterinary Referals

Places like the state parks (Promised Land) have walking trails. If you do a search for PA State Parks, I'm sure you could find more. Maybe if you asked at the Hideout or Hemlock Farms, they would be able to give you better information.
