I've met Dan also. Tom Selleck and the keyboardist from Bon Jovi, David Bryan were spotted a few years back in Hamlin. Selleck was at the McDonald's and Bryan was at Ames. I was told they both had summer homes in the area.

I transported Paul Newman from the track into the infield hospital in my ambulance when he was racing at Pocono Raceway and involved in a minor crash. He was absolutely fine from the crash, just had to take him to be checked by the infield doc because his car spun and crashed. He was a very pleasant gentleman and even offered to autograph my paperwork

(I also was astounded at how SHORT he was LOL)

I was in Mr. Z's in Mountaintop a few years ago and standing right next to me was Jack Palance. In person I was so surprised how tall he was and really nice looking for an older man. And he had beautiful white-grayish hair. Also my father told me years ago when he would be in the beer gardens in Nanticoke (when they called bars beer gardens then) he used to meet Jack and Ernie Kovacs. Now thats going way back! I remember when Edie Adams mother died in the 80's and she was buried from Nanticoke. Everyone was going to her wake. I was working so couldn't go. But heard Edie was very nice to everyone.
I used to work at Social Security with Frankie Valli's Aunt Alberta. I also worked with William Penn's great----Niece. And worked with I think it was President Benjamin Harrison's great---Granddaughter. Closest I came to meeting celebrities in our area. See TV personalities from here all over.

My mom saw Jack Palance in a restaurant in Sybertsville (Conyngham area).

Some people in Picture Rocks said Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward stopped in their little antique furniture store one time.

I haven't seen anyone personally.

I used to work at the Ryah house in Clarks Summit and I waited on someone from REO Speedwagon (as he kept telling me) and the Harlem Globetrotters

My daughter works @ cinemark on Montage Mt and a few years ago Jerry Seinfeld was in the area (I think he was performing) and Cinemark opened early so he could see a show. The staff was told not to bother him for autographs, etc. My daughter came flying out of the restroom and literally ran right into him. She was stunned because she was told not to bother him, (does almost knocking him over count?) but she said he was very nice.

My friends dad got drunk with Martin sheen and Jason Miller at the LeiderKranz(sp?) On Lackawanna Ave.

I got to meet Ice Cube at Nichols Village when he was here for the Up in Smoke Tour.

Lastly Ian Anderson, myself and about 30 other people drank for like 5 hours at the Banshee when he came for some Jethro Tull tribute concert. He was a riot.
