Yes, Ragnacci's is very good. Reasonable prices too. Some other great Italian places: Rossi's in Archbald is my favorite....the portions are huge and the prices are low....and the atmosphere is nice too. The Villa Maria in West Side is good too.

Anna Maria's in Dunmore is not so great. The food wasn't bad, but it was expensive and the portions were small.

Maybe my review wasn't tongue-in-cheek enough, notwithstanding that I wrote it from the perspective of a completely wasted late night party-er who had a serious case of the munchies.

Anyone want to review AV in Moosic, PA? Its In the Side of the Roadway Inn, Across from La Hacienda (ew) and the Suby dealership! I happen to work there, and I think it deserves a review! (It would be strongly biased coming from me)

Never ate there, but I've heard good things about it. Odd location though....the Roadway Inn....

The Hacienda was OK....but now its gone, and its been replaced by La Tolteca....the same Mexican restaurant that is on Mundy St. in Wilkes-Barre. La Tolteca is the best Mexican food I've ever had.

Hubby and I always go to Smiler's for lunch when we get out to do some shopping during the day when the kids are in school (in fact, we're supposed to go to Scranton tomorrow, so maybe we'll be having lunch at Smiler's to spend some of that tax rebate!). They have a great Crabby Patty sandwich. In fact, I don't think I've ever not liked anything I've ordered there.

Another place to try is Alfredo's Pizza Cafe in the South Side Shopping Center.

bldginpa will become famous soon enough
We have been to Napolitano's in Newfoundland several times now. Food is great. It's a small neighborhood place....the type where the owner/chef comes out to say hello and makes you feel welcome. Pizza is great as well as their many other Italian dishes....homemade soups, too!

Yes, Rossi's is excellent. I posted a thread about them a few months back and said those very same things.

I just ate at the S & W Diner across from the Scandlon Gymnasium at King's College on Monday with my friends, and I was quite pleased with the prices, atmosphere, and food quality. Both of my friends ordered chicken tenders, and I ordered a double bacon cheeseburger with cheese fries. The food was delectable.
