Oh I am so happy about this..........You made my day!
It is so very easy to make, and you can tell family you made it from "scratch" which was always a "big deal "with my MIL....... ( I use to tell her my box mix was scratch...ohhohoh)
My middle daughter loves brownies.......But, she always asks if I have made the Crazy Cake.
Sometimes it turns out tasting just like a moist brownie......
Can you even believe there is no eggs!
This cake gets made up also as cupcakes. We have a boy in the family who is allergic to eggs....
So its great that this can be made up. When the other kids are having the cake at school.....
Our daughter comes in with Crazy Cake Cupcakes so he isn't left out. I believe she uses the New Balance Butter and probably the Soy milk too.
Now, I just found out last week there is a vanilla Crazy Cake..........I'll post it when I get the recipe.
Thank you for trying it...........I'm so glad you loved it as much as my family does. I have all the ingredients staring at me as we speak, but I havn't made one in awhile. I have to do that soon.

A food funny
We went to breakfast at a restaurant where the "seniors' special" was two eggs, bacon, hash browns and toast for $1.99. "Sounds good," my wife said.
"But I don't want the eggs."
"Then, I'll have to charge you two dollars and forty-nine cents because you're ordering a la carte," the waitress warned her.
"You mean I'd have to pay for not taking the eggs?" my wife asked incredulously.
"Yes," stated the waitress.
"I'll take the special then," my wife said.
"How do you want your eggs?" the waitress asked.
"Raw and in the shell," my wife replied. She took the two eggs home and baked a cake.

For their anniversary, a couple went out for a romantic dinner. Their teenage daughters said they would fix a dessert and leave it waiting.
When they got home, they saw that the dining room table was beautifully set with china, crystal and candles, and there was a note that read: "Your dessert is in the refrigerator. We are staying with friends, so go ahead and do something we wouldn't do!"
"I suppose," the husband responded dryly, "we could clean the house."

My Pop's Baked Beans were a big hit at all the picnics we ever had. It's an old, passed down recipe...hope you make it and like it!
You will need:
1 large can Great Northern Beans
1 lb of bacon
1 bottle of ketchup
yellow mustard (to taste)
worchestershire sauce (to taste)
light brown sugar 1/4 cup
white vinegar 1/4 cup (can substitute cider vinegar, and that works well when serving the beans with pulled pork)
Drain and rinse the beans and put in a casserole dish.
Cut up all but 4 slices of bacon into little bits
Set aside 4 slices for later
In a large pan, fry up the bits of bacon, then remove..but keep the grease in the pan. (if bacon was super fatty, you can drain some of the grease, but some is needed..)
Add the crisp bacon bits in with the beans.
To the saved bacon grease, add the bottle of ketchup, and other ingredients. Now with the mustard and worchestershire...it's about adding it in little by little till it tastes (and smells) right. Simmer over a low medium heat for a few minutes to thicken and blend the flavors.
Then pour the mixture over the beans & mix. Lay the four pieces of bacon on top and bake for 30 -35 minutes in a 350 degree oven.
Enjoy your summer!!!!!!!

A Tuesday Chuckle...
The wise old Mother Superior was dying. The nuns gathered around her bed trying to make her comfortable. They gave her some warm milk to drink, but she refused it. Then one nun took the glass back to the kitchen. Remembering a bottle of whiskey they had received as a gift the previous Christmas, she opened and poured a generous amount into the warm milk.
When she walked back at Mother Superior's bed, she held the glass to her lips. Mother drank a little, then a little more. Before they knew it, she had drunk the whole glass down to the last drop. "Mother," the nuns asked with earnest, "please give us some wisdom before you die."
She raised herself up in bed with a pious look on her face and said, "Don't sell that cow."

New Recipe
I had to post this...it's now my favorite!!
I always buy a block of feta cheese at BJ's. A 2# block there is $8 & change, whereas everywhere else is $5.00+ for 6 or so oz.!!!
I cut it into "bricks" & freeze them 'til I need 'em. I had a jar of roasted red pepper strips, so I came up with this recipe. Amounts are general since I always eyeball when I cook as opposed to actually measuring...
Feta Spread
1 block (maybe 8 oz. or so) feta cheese
1/4 cup olive oil
2 large cloves garlic-crushed through a garlic crush or chopped VERY fine
1/4 cup roasted red pepper strips (cut into small pieces)
Some of the liquid from the pepper strips
1 tbsp. oregano
In a bowl, mash the feta (I've found that it gets "crumblier" if you freeze it 1st & mashes easier) & add remaining ingredients. Continue mashing together 'til it's blended into a "paste".
Cut some slices of crusty bread & spread on thinly....enjoy!!
