Catering for a Party in Milford Area
Hi,
Besides Frettas would anyone have any recommendations for catering for a small party - also who makes the best birthday cakes in the area? LOL, don't feel like cooking this time.
Thanks,
The Hat

Jorgenson's has catering. As for cakes, I'd go with a Carvel cake from ShopRite.

Fretta's catered a party for us a few years ago and everything was fabulous! (I know you said not Fretta's but it was great) There used to be a cake place next to them, can't remember the name. If you are willing to travel for a good cake Merry's Custom cakes is great! Home . She is in Stroudsburg. Other then that I have no idea but hope you find something you like.

Hi Hat,
This is a site I bookmarked a while ago because I though the cakes were so beautiful, haven't tried it and don't know anyone who has, but for what it's worth: Wedding Cakes nepa, birthday cakes, specialty cakes, anniversary cakes nepa, celebration cake
It's in Hawley, but I'm sure you'll be up here more now with the weather turning.

Hat...
My sister does home made cakes. She is in the Jefferson, NJ area. I can send you some pics if you are interested. Email me. When do you need it for? She'll be up here Memorial Day weekend for my daughters bday party.

Toon, JenLie,
Thanks for the suggestion..........used Frettas and will probably go back, just was wondering if anything else was out there. Know about the Carvel, and Shoprite makes great cakes, just checking to see if others are out there.
BTW, Frettas does a great job!
Thanks,
The hat

Pocono,
LOL, you can't give the italian family a bunch of cupcakes when they expect the cake, LOL, I liked the idea, though.

Who doesnt love a good gourmet cupcake? I'm experimenting with tiramisu ones this week, so it can just be considered portion controlled cake lol!
For our boys' bday party my mom actually brings the food here from home, mmm mmmm!
