Restoring my faith
Hi there
Remember a few weeks ago I had an incident with a cell phone and a well known furniture store. Well I had sent the store a copy of the receipt for a refurbished phone that I bought.
Today the store called and wanted my middle initial so they could send me a check.
Once I get the check, I will update you all. If this is the case, kuddos to them for doing the right thing.
Will keep you updated on my saga.
Thanks for all your support
dorothy

Good for them and good for you!!! Glad it sounds like it all worked out. Maybe the son admitted to the father that he DID drop/break your phone but didn't want to admit it to you.
Good luck!!!

That is great news but........Just a friendly reminder...........
The forum is not the right place for consumer complaints, simply describing
a bad experience (with a builder,company,etc.) is fine,but no names..please.

I hope it all works out for you in the end, but that is the lamest thing I've heard in a long time. They need a middle initial to issue you a check? A check to Mary Jones is just as valid as a check to Mary J. Jones. The need for a middle initial seems pretty bogus to me.
You're in the process of changing that card number, right?

i wouldnt worry, they are pretty reputable people. in fact the first time we got a delivery we got a statement from them showing an unpaid balance a month later. when i called them i said they had my credit card on file from the deposit. they said they wouldnt run the balance without us okaying it even if it ment leaving the furniture with us and now they are on the hook for payment.
