I'm thinking about planting an Eastern Redbud or other smaller tree on my tree lawn. i wasn't sure if you are allowed to in W-B. there are none on my tree desolate street. I wrote the city but they have not responded yet, anyone had any experience with this in W-B? thanks all

From what I can see and from personal experience, it is allowed to plant flowers and other vegetation (including trees) on your tree lawn. Not a solid answer, but perhaps you can just call the city?

I know that you're allowed to have trees out by the curb. At various times in the past, the city has planted trees in neighborhoods. Something like a Redbud would be great because it doesn't have invasive roots and won't interfere with overhead wires.
