"People are just people, ya know? We all speak our minds and that's a good thing. I have nothing against you or smokers, I just don't want to breath it in while out in a restaurant anymore. When you are a non-smoker you can taste the smoke.. It changes the taste of the meal too. It's like if a smoker doesn't like eating a certain food and that certain food is put right on his/her
meal and he gets a big gulp of that certain food. It changes the whole meal.
That's all I am trying to say.
Hopefully, we can all live here together and make it a better place."
Interesting, we all lived together quite well until anti smoker zealots indoctrinated the sheeple. That desire to feel superior over someone else must be ADDICTIVE. Similar superiority complexes in the past, over race and religion were just as wrong as this. The difference is they finally found a group that has not been granted protection from the tyranny of the majority.
Again, as repeated so many times, you are not forced to go into a private establishment that provides ambiance that you do not like. Freedom was great when we had a choice. I guarantee you I will never go to a place that caters to........(fill in the blank) but I would never support a law that would ban them. I enjoy being free and making my own choices. I will take responsibility for myself and not demand the government be my (or your) Nanny!
I do not know where you people have been eating. Ventilation today is fantastic. For those that can remember the 60's, smoke was sometimes so thick you could cut it with a knife,no one complained and no one was harmed. That is why imaginary numbers are used for future "risks" because there are none documented from the real smoky days.
