PPL is holding open houses to gather public feedback on new power line in eastern and northeastern PA It is the companys plan to build a new electric transmission line. These upgrades must be made to the areas electric delivery system by May 2012 to ensure contined power reliability.

PPL electric utilities has identified 3 alternative routes that could be used for this project and after considering some public input, plans to pick one of those routes to submit to the PA Public Utility Commission for approval.
