Nature Fest on Lake Wallenpaupack Saturday
Visit the Nature Fest to be held 10 AM to 3PM on Saturday June 28th at the Lacawac Sanctuary on Lake Wllenpaupack.
Beginning at 11 AM there will be live birds of prey and live animals from the Pocono Wildlife Rehab Center at 1PM
There will be a native plant walk with a herbalist at 2PM.
Researchers from Temple University will explore the lake life and help visitors .
Thre will be activities for children .
Nature crafts and face painting.......A lodge tour is also on the agenda.
Music, plant sale and foods available Admission is $5 Lacawac Sanctuary is a natture preserve, biological field station and natural historic site.

Sounds great! I always try to take the kiddies to Lacawac, they have some great programs for them.
