That's your opinion, but I prefer a blend of cheeses including American over mozzarella. Mozzarella is only good when its hot out of the oven, after it sits a little while it has the consistency of a piece of rubber.

Does anyone know how to make the square fried pizza at home? I found a semi fried dough recipe once, but it just didn't taste right to me.

Ricci's Pizza on Park Ave, W-B is the best fried "Old Forge" style pizza I've ever had... In my opinion. A dirty, unassuming, little, whole in the wall pizza joint in a shady neighborhood, where you're not sure you even want to get out of your car (for safety reasons), but some of the best pizza you can find. I'd put it up against anything from Old Forge in a blind taste test.

Grotto
I began reading this thread and noticed that the general concensus is that Grotto pizza is over-rated. Each year at the Bloomsburg Fair, the lines for Grotto are very long. Personally I avoid it. I had their pizza once, quite a while ago and wasn't impressed. It wasn't worth the long wait.
Now, if I happened to wander by their stand and noone was in line, I'd pick up a slice to curb my hunger.
As an artist and having been in the field of advertising I'd say the best thing going for their pizza is the name! You just don't hear the word Grotto often and that gives the impression of a product that is unique!
If someone were clever, they could possibly merchandise a pizza product with "grotto-style" and get away with it!

And it's overpriced also, you can get much better pizza in the area that isn't as expensive. Good pizza is a matter of opinion though. One persons idea of best pizza, can very well be someone else's worst pizza. Me and my wife are like this.
