Could someone recommend a qualified and reputable building inspector in Milford or Dingmans Ferry. I checked with the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI) at www.ashi.com, and found a company called Mr. Inside Out (Dingmans Ferry). Unfortunately, I can't find the company in the Better Business Bureau's database. Thanks for your help.

Deneed.

I'm going to recommend Jeff Remas who is the ultimate inspector - some realtors are actually afraid of him because he absolutely tells it the way it is and has broken deals but saved good people from a lot of headaches. The only thing is he may not cover the Milford area, too far from his normal stomping ground around Scranton and the Poconos, but it doesn't hurt to ask. If he can't make it there maybe he can recommend someone you can trust in the area.

This one.

Jeff is the guy I used on my house. He's an former Marine helicopter technician. He's got an eye for detail and will let you know what's what.

Well worth the extra money. Jeff spent tons of time looking over my place. I felt completely at ease when he gave me the thumbs up.

Good guy.

Hi:

I hired Jeff on 7/11/08. He found problems with the septic system and that alone made his $690.00 fee well worth it. Jeff is very knowleable, thorough and cheerful. His vanity number plate is a riot. Thanks for the recommendation.

Default My vote for Jeff Remas!

I only spoke with this man on the phone one time, and I can tell you that he came across as very sincere, honest and knowledgable. He was too far away, but he still gave me his time and opinion to steer me in the right direction. I appreciated that very much.
