I also give a thumbs up to The Shake Place. Their Smores sundae has quickly become my "usual!" Never too crowded, and the service is good.

Also like Cold Stone, especially their cakes. Just had one yesterday for my son's 10th birthday. Doesn't get much better than having your cake and ice cream all in one!!

Hillside Farms hands down. It's fresh, it's local, and it's delicious.

Cold Stone Creamery disappoints me. On my visits to Manhattan my friends and I have visited locations there where the staff will sing gleefully and do a little performance when they receive a tip. Here I put a $5 tip into the jar on my first visit to the location in Moosic, expecting to be treated to the same, but nothing happened. Why is it that whenever our area receives a little slice of NYC, it's always a disappointment?

Is cold stone really considered NYC in origins? There are tons of them here.

I've never received the song and dance routine, but always get great service and awesome milkshakes.

I give thumbs up to That Shake Place and Cold Stone Creamery. I always enjoy the ice cream at Cold Stone. I also never thought that Cold Stone had anything to do with New York. The company originated in Arizona.
