Walmart is supposed to be building a super center across the road--where sire power is/used to be.

Tunkhannock is a nice small town. I bought my motorcycle @ Jennings ATV and haul my logs to Deer Park lumber company.

Now, I do know that the Tunkhannock Wal-Mart is not a Supercenter, so its not open 24 hours, I don't know if that affects your position as an overnight stocker. But there are nearby supercenters in Dickson City and Wilkes-Barre, with 2 more planned for Pittston and Taylor (just over the Scranton city line).
I believe all the stocking still takes place during the overnight shift, but it may also involve unloading trucks because they don't need workers on the sales floor to help customers, I'm not sure. In supercenters, the trucks are unloaded during the evening shift, so it's ready to be stocked when the overnight folks come in. The only difference would probably be there aren't customers walking around while we work.

The reason I didn't consider Taylor as highly is because it's about 15 miles from the two closest stores. I guess it's something to consider as I work this out over the next year.

Thanks for the information, I really appreciate the help.

Does anyone know how difficult it is to get a teaching position in the Tunkhannock Area School District? Is it political? Can anyone give me advice on how to get in the district or contact information for the person(s) in charge of hiring? Any information will be appreciated.
