Anybody ever eat at a 'Joe's Crab Shack'? I've been seeing ads for them lately, but I don't think we have one in the area. A new seafood place would be a good fit.

BTW, it's a Quaker Steak & Lube going into Smokey Bones.
There's one in Buckhorn (on I-80.) It's not too bad, being another chain. They have a car theme & a whole pile of different kinds of wing flavors.
There was an ad in the paper for applications.

Ooo a Quaker Steak would be great! See what happens when I get my info from a girl across the street at starbucks? She said a nascar type bar. There are Nascar sports bars, so I spun it to that. Sorry  Cars, oil companies, I know, easy to mix up. Let's hope it is Quaker Steak! |

Love Quaker Steak and Lube! Good wings - lots of variety to please all types of palates, but several other items on the menu too, which are pretty tasty.
I know that, in Bloomsburg, on Sundays they have a good buffet - nothing fancy, but good to sit and watch some sports and have a good meal.
Any estimate on when they'll be opening? I do remember it seemed like it took forever for the Bloom place to open (they renovated a Perkins restaurant into their place...maybe that's why?)

Joe's Crab Shack is pretty good. I was at one in Myrtle Beach. The closest ones that I know of are in NJ. |

Excellent! That would have been my other choice besides Buffalo Wild Wings. Its not that you can't find good wings in the Scranton area....there are tons of places with good hot wings around here...BUT they're mostly smoky dive bars.....people like me with kids can't say "lets go for wings" if we're going out for something to eat....I'm not taking my kids to a smoky bar. I've heard good things about Quaker Steak and Lube, they're big in Western PA. |
