I've read on here more than once about a Sonic Restaraunt might be coming to NEPA. Is this just rumor?? or fact? Was it in the Newspaper? Did I miss it? I know there's one coming to the Lehigh Valley and there are some in the Reading and Lancaster areas, but I haven't heard of one coming to NEPA. Can someone enlighten me? Thnx.

No. This is not just yet another unsubstantiated rumor. There was a newspaper article a few months ago that confirmed the chain hoped to have up to a dozen restaurants in operation in Lackawannna, Luzerne, Columbia, and Monroe Counties over the next couple of years. I would assume the first locations might be in the very high traffic areas, such as near the Wachovia Arena, Shoppes at Montage, Dickson City, and perhaps even The Stroudsburgs, with locations eventually opening at Pittston Crossings, Dallas, Bloomsburg or Buckhorn, and Hazleton.

Anything big and greasy is fine by me (as long as it's not Ray Lyman running around Scranton in a speedo chasing City Councilwoman Sherry Fanucci)

Ouch! Be careful. She might be reading these boards too! Do you want the same police officers that allegedly stalk Sam Patilla and his family stalking your family as well?

You're quite welcome. I'll just poke my head into your office on Monday and steal your lunch for you en route to my own shift at the salt mine. I hope it's fettuccine alfredo!

It was supposed to be Abe's hot dogs today, but I go down there only to find out that they're closed for the week for vacation. The one day in a while that I don't bring a lunch...
