It's also suspicious to me that Mr. Corbett and his live-in girlfriend reside in Scranton's Hill Section, which is notorious amongst other city residents as being one of the more crime-plagued parts of the Electric City. Drug deals may be going on right under his nose, yet you could never tell by how he spends most of his time discussing Wilkes-Barre. Why do so many in Scranton have such a strong interest in Wilkes-Barre while most Wilkes-Barreans I know couldn't care less about Scranton?

It's funny because he paints a picture of Scranton as some Beverly Hills of the Northeast, and paints a picture of W-B as some Haitian Shanty town, yet both cities are almost identical in almost every statistic, and have shared a similar past and present. It's really amatuer, and not fair to W-B at all. I wish they'd give him the boot already!

Well, this Scrantonian only takes such an interest in Wilkes-Barre seeing that I spend 40 hours a week and sometimes more working there. Corbett probably takes an interest as a former W-B resident.

Let's see. He moves from W-B to CA and then moves to Scranton and sings its praises. Sounds a little suspicious to me, as if he has some skeletons in his closet from his brief stint in SoCal.
