Default Is the NJ State Fair worth going to?

Hey,

I have a 2 1/2 year old. Is it worth fighting the traffic and $$?

Thanks!

In short, no.

I haven't been in years but I can't imagine that it's changed that much. You get the same sort of rides, shows, exhibits that reqional county fairs have.

Not for a 2 1/2 year old. I was driving on rte 15 yesterday and the traffic coming against me was horrendous.

I went to the Wayne Co Fair this year with my sons and they had a blast. For $8 ; all the rides you want.

I was going to say the same thing that okaydorothy said...Wayne County is a little smaller but a lot nicer and you get WAY more for your money. The last time we went to the fair in Sussex Cty 3 years ago, it was $10 to walk in the gate and $15 for a wristband for the rides that covered noon to 6pm after that it was additional. Plus food, plus games....you get the gist of it.

Hey,

Just got back.

What a great fair! Good rides for the kiddo, tons of food and animals!

We might go back as a whole family on Sunday.

Kevin "Cheap and fun!"

The NJ State Fair is awesome! It's huge, with lots to do. A 2 1/2 year old might be overwhelmed, but I would expect the parents to have a good time. Glad you enjoyed!
