Pazzo...I can't recommend it enough. It is no doubt one of the best Italian restaurants in NEPA. Pricey for the area but definitely a good value and fresh, yummy food. It is on Rt 315, which is the road you exit on to from I-81 Pittston exit, about two miles north from the exit.

Hi John! Sorry I never got back to you. Some good bets are indeed Pazzo, which is owned by the same family that runs Agolino's in West Pittston, Parente's, which is located along North Main Street not far past the Fort Jenkins Bridge, and Tony's Pizzeria, located in the City Line Plaza, just south of town along Main Street. Parente's has been hit or miss the past few times I was there, but the owners are friends of the family, so I always cut them some slack. Agolino's is good, but they're most noted for their breakfast, especially their cheese-stuffed French toast! Tony's is a small hole-in-the-wall joint with some good pizza and stromboli. I've never tried any of their other offerings. I've heard good things about Nardone's in West Pittston also, but I've never been there. Colarusso's in Avoca is always a good bet, as is the Lincoln Inn in Dupont.

Mambo Italiano wasn't that great, but cafe oliva on Broad Street and Parentes on North Main are 5 star.

To be fair there was too much garlic in my pasta dish the last time I ate at Mambo, but I really liked my dessert. I've had hit-or-miss experiences at Parente's. I've never eaten at Olivia.
