well the words under my name was a lot of blood,sweat and tears to do that..enduring alot of BS
....It sure was not easy but I'm reaping the rewards. ..are you thinking about clarks summit?...I really like it,very nice,the people are great,the neighbors...I mean friends are awesome...

Regarding Craigs List --- Under Jobs: Lots of them are bogus, if you answer an ad all you get back is an advertisement for continuing education, etc.

Real Estate ?? I don't know, I have my lot in Florida advertised in all the states and
never hear anything !!! I blamed it on the houseing market !! ???

Craigslist for jobs used to be an excellent source for jobs. Over the past 2 months I've sent out at least, if not more then 100 resumes. The respones I have received are ALL from employment agencys. Finding a job IS a full time job and to have to spend hour, days, and months doing this for nothing has really added to my burden. The Triangle.com and other job sites aren't much better. Most of the jobs posted are also from employment agency but at least you know that upfront. Seems to me I better become an entrepreneur if I want to stay in my apartment, and not end up on the street.

Make sure you get photos up there. As many as you can. I also had a virtual tour link on there. You should post under different states too. Use a few different email addresses  |

You have to constantly wade through all of the BS ads that dominate the site. It's still spam to me, which is why I find it such a waste of time, overall. 'Tis a shame.  |

I filled out lots of online applications through Craigs List and now I'm bombarded with emails from everywhere. None of them job offers. So... Never again !! And its too bad for the employer really looking to do some hiring !!

I have tried to list in different states, but I guess the e-mail address is the problem. I thought I could change the wording a little, but it still said I could only list it once. I will try a different e-mail address, thanks for the tip. I don't have photos, so I'll add them too.
It is so frustrating!
I think Craigs list has changed a lot in the last year. There was'nt nearly the amount of ads as there is now. Too much to wade through! |
