It's about a half-hour northwest of Wilkes-Barre and about twenty minutes west of Dallas. In my opinion it's superior to Bushkill Falls because you're not PAYING and being herded through with a zillion tourists from NY/NJ like cattle. LOL!

This is a Buck that I'm pretty sure didn't make it past hunting season. He was hanging around my house a lot and I haven't seen him since.

Sounds great! I have only been there once and we had a lovely BBQ on the lake...we ate all day!
So..if we have a meet and greet there...I'll stay back and man the BBQ grill! I can't walk 8 miles on rugged terrain!! I should make up my mind now to set my goals on accomplishing this but....

Very nice pics, Roxxy. And you get great results with the zoom. I haven't been out far enough into the countryside for TOO LONG, so these, along with EnyaGirl's are great to look at. I forgot about Rickett's Glen! Thanks!

"brr" is right, Pocono. What a closeup!
These words of a song just popped into my head:

"I've got chills!!
They're muliplyin'..."

I bet there will be some great photos for people to take once the snow hits.
I was getting on the highway yesterday during a short snow squall, and was thinking it would be cool to get a photo of the snow on the road... you know, when it looks like thin waves oozing ((or billowing... *whatever!*)) across the asphalt surface.
