As a change of pace, maybe you might try the Welcome Wagon business? Need a capable Assistant?

Well, to get back on topic, any more questions we can address for you? This is fun! I was one of the first ones on this forum (way back when we only had a few thousand members!) I've seen multitudes of members come and go over the past couple of years, and what I enjoy most of all is just simply helping people with their inquiries. I'm like a pig rolling around in a blanket of mud right now because after a dull period we've suddenly got several people "nibbling on the line" of moving to NEPA. I think why you saw so many quick responses to your initial reply is because we all had this information bottled up inside of us and just wanted to spit it out! LOL! Keep the questions coming!

Well you guys have been great today -- I usually don't sit at the computer this long, but you guys have kept me busy LOL. I love it.

Okay, I have another one. As a secondary career, I'm a massage therapist. When I first moved to NJ, I didn't have a job, so I did outcall massage therapy for visiting professionals in hotels in downtown Philadelphia. Was wondering what opportunities for hotel outcall would be in the Scranton area?

Ha ha, I was just kidding about getting off topic. I suppose I was a MODERATOR in a past life LOL.
I've had some fun here today.

There are a surprising number of hotels in the area. Marriott, Radisson, Hilton, etc. all have solid presences here. Believe it or not Wilkes-Barre is building its second Hampton Inn, and a major addition looks like it's being added to the Host Inn & Suites near Wilkes-Barre (at least what I can see from the freeway during my commutes to work). Scranton's certainly not a big white-collar city for business conventions, but it sits right near the confluence of a lot of major highways (I-84, I-380, I-476, I-81, etc.), making it a convenient choice for multi-state travelers to stop and sleep for the night. We're also a trucking hot bed. I don't know if this would be "beneath" you or not, but the Petro Travel Center, near the airport, is always very busy 24/7 with travelers, mostly truckers and out-of-staters, and they offer a range of different services. I'm unsure of massage therapists, but it would make sense that it could be a lucrative opportunity to set up shop within the facility or very near to it.

Once again CraigsList would be an excellent way to get your name out there, but you'd of course have to use extreme discretion and common sense to ensure that your potential clients wouldn't be expecting a bit "more" than you would be preparing to "provide." (Like my corny euphemisms yet?) It's amazing the number of creeps who reside on the site (don't ask me how I know this).
