We noticed the leaves as well, on our drive to central PA this past weekend. And as I look out my window here at home, I can see several of the trees starting to turn.
While I'm sad to see summer nearing its end, I absolutely LOVE autumn! (But I REALLY love football season! High School, College, Pro...doesn't matter, I'm watching it! )
I specifically picked October when my husband and I married, because I have many family members from the south, and wanted them to see the PA foliage in all its glory!
The changing of the seasons is almost magical!!

No leaves changing out here on Long Island. Way to warm for that.
Been in the upper/mid 80s this week. =/

Fall is coming along fast. "Fallfanatic" will be happy to know that. But.......Summerinnnnng is holding it off as much as she can.

The photos are lovely
Hi,
The leaves are just beautiful. We live in Calif and don't have the
pretty fall colors like PA. My daughter and I would like to move
to PA. We visit every summer.
Where is the Pocono area? Are there towns that are a little smaller,
safe in this area? Could you recommend any?
Thank you,
Silviab

My Mom, her best friend Lil (RIP) and I always went for leaf rides...a drive through the country to experience the change of season..then stop at a diner for good eats...Great memories.
Anyone else have some fall shots yet?

TGIF... thank God it's Fall, at least for Pennsylvanians. I was one, today, all week in L.A., the heat, the sunshine, even some humidity for us, it's been a rough summer out here with no end in sight. Just today my brother made the drive from NYC into Pittsburgh, through some of the same scenery. Miss it!

Hot toddy is the whiskey, lemon, (cloves put into the lemon and hot water.
I like my hot toddy with just whiskey and water. Oh it also depends on the whiskey ; I rather Paddy whiskey but you can only get it in Ireland. Otherwise its Jameson.
Baileys ; that is great with cream. Or there is a great cream drink called West African ; it comes in a leopard bottle.
I stocked up my liquor cabinet for the winter recently.
