Sure you could probably rent them out. Plenty of gangbangers would love to rent it out from you so they could set up a meth lab or coke storage in your house. They will probably also make you "disappear" like a lot of other missing owners in PCP. Then they would buy your house as a forclosure or just live in it for nothing. Who do you want to rent to, the crips, bloods or latin kings?

I'm sure you will love it when your house gets broken into and busted up like mine did. Hopefully you wont be home when it happens. Did you hear what the gangbangers did to the guy in Connecticut? The robbed beat and raped the girls and then burned the house down. Only the father survived. Have a nice day in PCP. Even the Bears fear to come here for their safety. Don't you love "diversity" ?

Wow you are naive and stupid. The board of directors of PCP are honest and hardworking. Did you here about MR EDEN on the board who earlier this year was pulled over drunk on DWI charges in PCP and got into a fight with the security there? He is still on the Board. Whats up with that. If you or I did that we would have several hundred dollars in citations and be facing jail time. This board of directors is a self serving bunch of fools. They do nothing about the community. Gangbangers are running wild here and nothing is being done about it. Wake up buddy and smell your cold coffee. You need to take a cold shower too.

If you are interested in renting my property I can provide you with tank and artillery support if needed. I have friends in the national guard that can come to fight the gangbangers for you too. Happy days !

stop hating on pcp
this a shout out to all the haters of pcp. yes things have change quite a bit in the 10 years that i have been here. wonder why? they are taking a retirement community and turning it into a little ny. people are bring all their bad children and problems and laying at our front doors. and believe me i know what i am talking about if some how we could sort out all the mess and just leave the good. but on the real you got a nice home for a good price and compared to the city you must be kidding. their is no comparison. get real you got your yard, and your family and lets not forget their is trouble every where. so i have heard from people that i wouldn't buy a house in pcp and the reason for that is no one ever asked you too. so get your own house in another community and stop the back stabbing and hating.

BigBear, Problem is we are here to try very hard to give the best and honest information to people who don't know the area.
They are coming this way to work in schools, or just for a home they see on line as looking so "cheap" yet so lovely.
Many say " I need a home right away and is this where I should go?"
Other say, " I love the contemporary home, should I move there?"
My husband is " getting a job in that local school," " I see homes there are cheap"
What are we to say to these outsiders?
There are good, places to live in the Poconos. Clean, safe, and friendly.
In all honesty. Anyone who reads the Pocono newspapers, can't send a
newcomer there.
I wish the community luck in changing its ways. But, I think the crime and
gangs will not tread far. In that case......for the newcomers who are looking for a good place to live, and work. We're not sending them there.

That was a nice story. About the murder perp living in PCP. About what I expected. I nice country development straight from the bowels of HELL. The place crawls with gang bangers. I am from NJ and have owned a house here since 1986. I am terrified to walk around this neighborhood at night. I go and check on the house and pack my **** up and leave asap. Plan to sell it soon as I do not want to live up here myself. It is getting to be like Newark, Irvington or Plainfield. Nobody wants to rent houses here. If the house were outside Pocono country Place it would probably be worth 30 to 40 thousand more and would probably rent for $1000/month easily. In here you are lucky to get $700 a month for a really good house. Stay away for your own peace of mind and go elsewhere. You will thank me for it. I bought here and it was a big misteak? Or should I say mistake.

Happy to be out !!!
Sorry owner,
Hope you can someway find your way out.
Like many others I have been stuck in the area as well.(pocono Farms).
It took 7 months to rent for a decent price and to find people that passed the requirements I had . Selling, forget that.
If you are interested in renting at some point I would suggest Pocono Premier Realty. They check the renters out well and were very easy to deal with.
Good Luck

Apcp
Hello everyone!!!! I'm looking for a vacation place in APCP. I do have friends that own a vacation property there and they did tell me that they heard about drug & gang activity in the community. I know the problems are in section A. My friends own in section K and by the little I saw in section A, section K doesn't even look part of the same community. I spent the last 4 weekends at their house and I have to say I didn't see anything strange or alarming. I know it's a very diversified community and I don't care if you're white, black, purple or blue as long as people follow the rules and don't take advantage of other people. I heard that section A has a lot of section 8 and people feel that's where all the problems are when people don't work and let their children run around without supervision. I did hear from a local that APCP is going to terminate with the section 8 and that wil improve the quality of the community. Did anybody hear anything on this? Does anybody think with the casino now open will improve Tobyhanna? After all the blurs I read, I'm terribly confused and don't know what to do. I would like to buy next to my friends but I'm afraid. I work hard for a living and I'm affraid to buy a place, get a mortgage and I won't be able to re-sell later. Help!!!!!!!!!
