Sunset Courtesy Of Hurricane Hannah...
The outer bands of Hannah are passing by us & turned the sunsetting sky into tones of yellow, burnt orange, pink & purple!!
It was so beautiful I thought I'd share with y'all....

i want to be the guy holding on to the stop sign with his legs out sideways in the storm. ha ha, nice photos...
if you shot those in raw try changing white balance on them to shade. it makes for some wild colors. you can only do this though after the fact if you shot raw digital and not jpeg.

Beautiful shots! I saw this when I went to the Luzerne fair last night...it was a big orangy-purplish ball in the sky...wish I had my camera on me at the time!

LOL!! If you were here when we got hit with Jeanne & Wilma, you'ld have gotten your wish!! Except a lot of the STOP signs were uprooted!!
I'm not a camera afficianado...I have a cheap Kodak, but it's good enough for me as far as picture taking...
A close friend of mine's a wedding photographer & his camera's got so many dials & buttons & meters I'd just end up getting confused...(not too hard )... & frustrated!!

Hannah's high clouds were already over us & the low bands were working in, so the combo refracted the sunset into an almost magical light!!
It only lasted about 5 minutes, but everything was bathed in a gold light like a Maxfield Parrish painting, & down here it's so flat (I call it "Big Sky ) that you can view for miles around!!
