Default Dunkin' Donuts

We are thinking of making a move - to the Pocono (Hideout) area, or to the Scranton area, or Wilkes-Barre - still undecided.

My VERY important question is this - how many Dunkin' Donuts are there where we're looking? I saw one (I think) near Dickson City and one last night when we were driving around the mall in Wilkes-Barre (Wyoming Valley I think it was).

I can't leave Dunkin' Donuts - here in Bucks County they seem to be on just about every corner. I just love their coffee, I don't know what they do to it - maybe they add some special, addictive substance. But it's great, and it makes me happy.

I know, I know - it's the little things in life.....

I don't know exactly how many there are, but there are enough around the area to satisfy, you probably don't even have to drive 5 minutes in any direction before you come across one.

You won't find a DD in Lake Ariel. It's too rural! You have to go to Scranton or WB.

see!!! SOMEONE understands!!!! Oddly metro phoenix is very lacking on donut shops and the great coffee they serve. A Dunkin just opened, and it adds a good 20 minutes to my commute to get there, but sometimes i just need a good coffee in the morning!

There are plenty of donut shops in NEPA. As good as dunkin is, it is in last place of the good coffee from donut shop list in my opinion. When you get to the area look for a Curry Donuts, you will be hooked. I get their supplies shipped to me, or stock up when i visit, but it still isn't the same. When I visit the one near my parents house the owner still knows my order, i moved away 3 years ago!

There's one in Honesdale, but still 20 minutes from hideout area.
When we first moved here almost 10 years ago, I remember writing a detailed letter to starbucks how there were none in a 75-100 mile radius of here and how we'd love to have one. Tough to leave good coffee behind lol!

What's with this sudden big deal nationally with Dunkin Donuts? We've had one in Hermitage, PA since I was a little kid, I'm almost 30 now. And they just got their first one in Pittsburgh, what's up with that? I still remember those old commercials, "Time to make the donuts."

Edit: By the way, Krispi Kreme's got nothing on Dunkin Donuts! I couldn't stand when I lived down south having to go without Dunkin.

When we were in Arizona last year, we had Farmer Bros. coffee, and it was the best coffee we ever tasted! We can't get it here in the East, but you might be able to buy it. I don't know if it's available to the public, or just in hotels/restaurants.

Default Pike County also...

...if you drive down this way, they're building a new one, right next to Lowes. Then, very close by, there is one in Port Jervis, NY and Montegue, NJ. No shortage here.
