What Are Your Favorite Chain Restaurants/Eateries in NEPA?
Inspired by a popular newer thread on the New Jersey forum I thought it would be a good idea to start a new poll here on the NEPA sub-forum regarding everyone's preferences for chain restaurants that have established themselves here in the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre/Stroudsburg areas. Please post a reply stating why you voted as you did (value? good burgers? friendly staff? convenient locations?) Also note that I've only included those chain restaurants that we currently have, even though I know we're supposed to be luring in several more chains (Quaker Steak & Lube and Sonic are definites with rumors of a Cheesecake Factory so stay tuned).
Vote for as many options as you'd like.

I thoroughly detest all chain restaurants.
Seriously!

I hate to admit it, but I love the Olive Garden. I like the Italian Villa look it has, I like the free breadsticks and salad, and I like thier food. That doesn't mean it's my favorite Italian restaurant, but for a chain restaurant they do a pretty good job.

Adding on just a bit I forgot to mention that a Moe's Southwest Grill is planned for the Abingtons as well.

I like the breadsticks, salad, and soup (zupa toscana, or however its spelled), but that's about it. Their dinners aren't that great for how much they cost.

Is that a franchise of Moe's Tavern?

I haven't dined at the Wilkes-Barre Township Olive Garden since I received a gift card as the reward for earning employee of the month at my former employer (pats self on back!) The food was "average," in my opinion. It was of equal caliber to most small mom-and-pops I've had so if given the choice I'd patronize the latter to keep our small towns looking vibrant.
