If this is the right company, it looks like you can purchase their products online and have them shipped to your home.

sclafanifoods.com

A Google search for Sclafani canned tomatoes brings up some other things too - maybe other places to buy them.

Thanks dawne! I already went there and ordered tomatoes. I actually bought it from another site that was cheaper. The problem it cost 26.00 for delivery. I would just love to find some place closer so i could buy it when i wanted.

Well i have 24 cans coming so that should help me for awhile, lol.

With all the local tomatoes we have now, have you ever tried canning your own ??? Or for that matter freezing them if you have enough freezer space. Its a very simple process and trust me better than any commercially canned tomatoe. I have taught lots of my friends how to can, and they are amazed at the difference !!!!
Try it you'll like it !!!!!!

If you have the freezer space, put 6 or 8 tomatoes at a time in boiling water until skins crack maybe less than a minute, let cool, remove stem end and skins. I keep putting these tomatoes in a large bowl, squash them up with my hands, put in freezer bags or containers and freeze. Also, canning is easy, over the years I have found some real time saving shortcuts. I have a friend who puts her tomatoes in canning jars, as per directions and then loads them in the dishwasher for the hot water bath !!

Hey Roxy...Canning can be fun. I have done it with my mom a few times. My parents can all their own jellies, tomatos, salsa, applesauce. My mom gets her tomatos from Heckman's Orchard..there is usually a list you have to get on, but I'm not sure what type of tomato she uses. I'll have to ask her if she ever used Sciafani's....

hi poconoproud,
actually sclafani is the name of a canned tomato. its a great brand and very hard to come by. I dont think I will can this year (probably too late) but next year I will try it. I always wanted to bottle up fresh tomato sauce. I just ordered 2 cases on line and it cost more for delivery than for the tomatoes .

thanks for all the input,
roxy

Please send me your address and I shall send you 1 case of Sclafani Crushed Tomatoes.at no cost. They are not available in central or Northeastern Pa. These are packed by Don Pepino Sales co. in Williamstown, NJ. Violet was owned by the Sclafani Family since 1946. They have been in the food business since 1900.

We love to receive compliments.

Thanks

Chip Sclafani
