Cute pictures. I bet they are just practicing over our "Sausages" house.
Trying to explain that to hubby, saying " Sausages",..........made for one of those
"Say Whaaaa" moments.

I'm sure they are delivering the $85 billion to AIG. <<snark>>

I'm not very savvy with local stuff, but maybe someone might consider calling a local newspaper or electronic media and ask, "What's up?" Perhaps there's a story in it.

At least sausages might be able to get some sleep....5:41 a.m.....geesh!!

We live in NY, near Binghamton, and a couple of days ago the helicopters were up here too. They came over our house twice. The first time I was outside so I got a pretty good look at them. There were definitely 5 of them and they were heading southeast. A few hours later they came back again: at least, I assume it was them, because the racket they made was the same as the first time. I didn't bother to go outside to look. My husband and I just assumed that the helicopters were out on some sort of practice maneuvers and didn't think any more about it. Now, hearing that they were flying around NEPA (and maybe SEPA as well?), I am wondering what they were doing. Btw, I'm not one of those folks who believes in "black helicopter" conspiracy stories. :-) I'm just a little bit curious about whether these helicopters were just practicing or whether they were doing something else.

The dah dah dah is the best attempt at the music that plays while the choppers in the pics come ashore in Apocolypse Now. Its by Wagner and its called Flight of the Valkeries...............

If you have not seen Apocolypse Now I advise seeing it, Martin Sheen is a kid and Marlin Brando is very young as well.

Excellent movie. One of the famous lines in the movie...."I love the smell of napalm in the morning."
