AmeriKen, your coverage has been absolutely awesome and would have repped you but the darn rule at city data. Maybe they can at least allow a side comment under the rep area. Great job covering the event.

The fair was a lot of fun! I enjoyed my very first corn dog, ribbon fries, a hot apple dumpling with cinnamon and ice cream, a chocolate milk shake, and potato pancakes. I bought a bag of sugar-coated cherry slices to take home with me. The only thing I forgot to get that I've had a craving for was a funnel cake! The exhibits were breathtaking. I especially liked the Judge Judy scarecrow and the intricate hand-carved wooden structure figurines that we also clocks. A 1,000+ pound pumpkin was a unique sight as well!

Overall the fair was awesome! The only thing that got me angry is that the McSame supporters were running amok with t-shirts, yard signs, "Vote McCain" comments, etc. I wanted to just take my shirt off and paint Sen. Obama's face across my chest, but I was afraid I'd get shot! I hope this is indicative of the future election results.

OMG! There WAS an Obama supporter there, and he did NOT get shot?! Gotta love that guy in the sunglasses pushing the wheelchair with the "I'm gonna whoop yo rear end" look on his face! LOL!
