What Happened to FightinPhils?
Am I reading this correctly in seeing that our very own FightinPhils has been banned?  Does anyone have any idea what on Earth happened to provoke this? Given my increasingly busy work/school schedule I've been on here less and less frequently as of late, so I'm obviously out of the loop more often now than ever before. His last activity was several days ago, so I checked out his profile out of concern and saw "Not a member," which is usually assigned to banned members. I've known FightinPhils since 2006, back when he was ConorsDad (and then eventually MrKrabs). I'm sorry to see him go.
Why are all of the good, loyal, long-term members leaving us now? What a week of awful news!  |

I happened to catch Scranbarre mentioning one time in a thread that ConnersDad was MrKrabs.......I enjoyed his postings. Even the little banters back and forth.
Gosh, I hate to loose long-timers. You start to get so use to each others personality. So many little disagreements, just mean nothing.

There's a lot of controversy concerning First Amendment rights on the Net. I've seen cases where they've been shot down as well as supported. Traditionally the Amendment concerned only the government's right to prohibit free speech; with the advent of the Net everything's still being tested in court cases.
Even Net libel and slander suits are an iffy proposition these days. But one thing you need to remember is that these are privately-owned forums - the owners have the right to kick out anyone they want, for whatever reason. We exist here only at their tender mercies.  |

That's a bummer. MrKrabs / FightinPhils was a really great poster here. (Whew, almost 3000 posts.)
Hoping he just changed his tagline to "Not a member" as a joke...
