On October 18, 2008 The Volunteer Fire Company of Port Trevorton Pennsylvania, located on Rts. 11 & 15 will be hosting its first ever Oktoberfest this is a dry township (which means no alcoholic beverages will be served) but the day is filled with activities for all with a Chinese Auction, pony rides, craft vendors, Mcgruff the crime dog, smokey the bear, free fingerprinting for children, a pumpkin patch, dj, the snyder county tractor square dancers, life flight helicopter (weather permitting), fire and safety demonstrations, fire truck display, halloween costume judging for children, great food and a good time for all to enjoy. Please come out and join us in this celebration along the river on Saturday October 18, 2008 from 8am-3pm.
