Well I dont know what most of the items listed are but I love pierogies and potato pancakes. I always thought potato pancakes was a Jewish food. My mom made the best potato pancakes when I was a child and havent had anything close to them. Ok October 12 the day after the flea market!!! Are you going to that?

I remember when I was much younger, there was a church in Wilkes-Barre that had a polish festival every year. My Uncle Joe was a big part of it. I loved going from food tent to food tent eating all that wonderful Polish food. You can't get that down here in the Brodheadsville region..this area was populated by more Dutch & German settlers, where as the Wilkes-Barre region has a strong Polish community.
