Talking "b.s." about what, may I ask? Care to address how Bishop Martino didn't blur the line between preaching and partisanship in relation to the IRS code for non-profit tax-exemptions with his letter?

You can't fault them. The IRS can if they investigate and deem a tax-exempt body to be blurring the fine line between partisanship and preaching.

As far as homosexuality....I don't know....I'm not a doctor, scientist, etc, so I can't say one way or the other if its a choice, or if its something that one can change. There is always the possibility that its a chemical imbalance, but honestly, I don't know....and I don't care all that much, to be honest.

Go phillies you seem like a real nice guy, so I'm gonna shed some light on the subject straight from the horse's mouth so you're informed.
Homosexuality is NOT a choice & cannot be "cured". I can't "choose" to be attracted to, or want to have sex with a woman just like you can't "choose" to be attracted to, or want to have sex with another man. The idea of having sex with a woman disgusts me as much as the idea of you having sex with a guy disgusts you (no offense ladies ). I'm SURE you never "chose" to be attracted to women.
Every gay person that I know (myself included) has been attracted to the same sex for as long back as we can remember & NEVER been attracted to the opposite sex. Remember back in your teens how being around girls gave you that "willies" feeling?? That's the same thing we felt around the same sex.
It doesn't matter if you ARE a scientist or a doctor if you can't believe what the people IN the situation tell you what is true.

Great post! I'd give you rep points if I could, but I can't! Believe me, after two no good husbands, I wish I could choose to be attracted to women! That would end the 'great toilet seat debate' for good in my house!

You still haven't answered questions about the political sermons from the pulpit at Obama's church.....and those sermons actually named candidates, especially during the Obama vs. Hillary primary. Why are you railing against Martino and not Wright?

LOL!!! There were times in my past where I wished I could "choose" to be attracted to women too!! It musta been your 2 no-good husbands or their twins that I met!!!
I know a gay couple in their late 70's who've been together for 56 years!!! Now if THAT"S not love I don't know what is!!
Too bad they've never been able to have that love recognized legally & been able to reap "couple's legal benefits" for all that time....

When I was married to the second husband, there was an older gay couple who lived across the street. I actually envied their life together, they seemed so happy! Every evening in the summer, they'd walk their dog to the beach so she could swim. They knew the secret to staying together was to spend time together, falling in love with each other again and again. Meanwhile, I was lucky if I could get my hubby to eat a meal I cooked for him with me. Oh well. (and I am a good cook!)

So your argument essentially is "If Wright can do it, then why can't Martino?" Two wrongs don't make a right. I don't defend the ludicrous actions of liberal activists pastors any more than I can tolerate the short-sighted actions of conservative activists priests or bishops.
