Guess who I finally bumped into today down on campus?! LOL! I hope to be treating a special someone to lunch as soon as this craziness with all of my interviews winds down (hopefully I'll snag an offer out of this!)

No, his argument is that you never question or speak out against Wright. You just continue to bash anything Catholic. We never see a anti Wright thread. why don't you spend some of your time and look into that as well.
By the way you are now getting a CATHOILC education. Thanks for the 23K donation this year.
You actually act like your Presidential candidate(Obama Dama Ding Dong). Give money to Acorn work and spread money for Ayers and go to the same racist church for 20 years and then at the same time say you want nothing or had nothing to do with them.
You do the same thing, you rant and rave against the Catholic church etc but your actions going to a Catholic school speak volumes. I think you are upset that you are not Catholic.

Show me where my $23,000 gets deposited into the bank account of the Diocese of Scranton when I just told you that any accrued profits get reinvested into the school's endowment fund, from which GENEROUS financial aid packages are awarded to students (King's offered the best packaged to entice me there). This is my first thread questioning the Catholic church, so your insinuation that I'm a chronic Catholic-basher is baseless. The Rev. Wright scandal had nothing to do with NEPA whereas Bishop Martino's proclamation was straight out of Scranton and affected hundreds of thousands of people. Why would I post an anti-Rev. Wright thread on the PA forum?
You're just irritated because Obama is winning right now in a landslide. He's handily winning FL, NC, VA, PA, and NH, all former "toss-up" states (or even "red" states in some cases). McCain's lead in GA over Obama is only half that of Bush's lead over Kerry in 2004. Even Missouri is a dead-heat. Yes, I am voting for Sen. Obama in two-and-a-half weeks. So is a majority of the country (at this point). Why vilify me for that?

Believe what ever you want the bottom line is that you have no idea where the money goes and I am sure you would be surprised. Once again thank you for the donation.
Did you or did you not say that the financial problems of the WB/Scr area were because of the Catholic Church?
The financial problems of the Scr/WB area are square on the tax and spend Democratic politicians, NOT the Catholic church. Someone in Scranton needs to learn how to stop spending.
I am not irritated that Obama Dama Ding Dong is winning right now. I might be a little irritated if he ends up ahead after Nov. 4th.
As someone who probably does not pay any taxes I would expect you to be supporting a Socialist. It came out of his own mouth earlier this week. He wants to spread the wealth. Unfortunately McCain can't articulate his position well enough. 40% of the population does not even pay any income tax. So I am the guy who has worked very hard to get where I am today and to have someone come into office and want to take that money away from me and basically give it away. This not the American way and not what this country was founded on. It is not a crime to do well! I already pay too much in taxes! There are issues I agree with Obama on like ending the war but I agree with Mccain on many more issues. I just can't get over Obamas affiliation with all the bad characters he has been involved with. If you think that he sat in that church he sat in for 20 years and listened to the hatred of gays, Jews, whites and even America herself, if you think someone that belongs to a church like that has your best interests at heart(being gay) then I guess you would believe anything he says.
I just don't trust him!!!!!

You title the thread and make your first post "Boycott the Roman Catholic Church", but yet you see nothing wrong attending a school owned and run by the Roman Catholic Church?
The school you go to is owned by the Vatican, which if you forgot, is The Roman Catholic Church.
That is what I call B.S. on. Just admit you were wrong, close the thread and move on.

wow....
VOTE FOR OBAMA!!
and yes, if hillary was the democratic nomination she would have my vote hands down. i am actually disappointed it isn't her, but alas it is obama and he is good enough.
we need a president that will care about the environment, animals, the people, and by people i mean US, the american people. we need a president that will deal with today and tomorrow's problems. we need clean energy and other alternative energy sources so let's find them, we need health care, so why not spend our taxes on it? even if our taxes do get raised at least obama will spend them on us, the american people, not using fake money and our real money to pay for a war, a pointless war that needs to end.
mccain and palin are disgusting. doesn't anyone care that mccain cheated on his first wife or the fact that he thinks polar bears need to adapt or move on? come on! he's old and he is a lot like bush, he's sarcastic and not a good candidate for presidency.
OBAMA IS, vote for obama, and you'll be making the right choice!!
