Default Autumn in Bloom

This is my Sunday morning walk to get the New York Daily News.

When the fountain becomes silent, autumn is here.....

Carver Hall overlooking Main Street.

New owners- new beginnings for the old Capitol Theatre!

Town Hall and the Police Department.

The leaves are just beginning to turn on certain trees. The flowers are the highlights this morning.

And where the trees are bright, the beauty is short-lived. As autumn brightens in Bloomsburg, I'll share a few more scenes.......

Nice pics. I like autumn. The leaves are beautiful and the air is crisp.

Looks so nice. How large is Bloomsburg and what towns are around the area if you wanted to live somewhere where you could have about 2 acres of land?

Default Just outside of town!

I have friends who live on farms and in wooded areas just five - fifteen minutes outside of Bloomsburg (population 12,300), in various directions. Bloomsburg, as I mentioned in an ealier thread, is a hidden gem! The town has a large police force and crime is minimal. (Hope I don't have to eat those words now that I put them in print!) There is the Bloomsburg Theatre Ensemble, Bloomsburg Theatre Ensemble - Home and several top-notch art galleries filled with local art. On occassion, I show some of my work. The Childrens Museum is wonderful for all ages. The Children's Museum - Bloomsburg, PA Bloomsburg University keeps the downtown vibrant with various activities.

I'll be visiting some artist-friends soon. I think they have twenty acres- all wooded. They designed and built their home. It is unique and I'll share some pictures following my visit!

Come visit Bloomsburg. An ARTWALK is scheduled for Thursday, October 16, from 4 PM until 9. 40 local artists fill stores on the Main Street. Free food and drink at each place! I pass on selling artwork and prefer to walk the street that day! Downtown Bloomsburg, PA Arts and Entertainment

Default Greeted After Work....

This leafhopper was near the door when I got home from work.
Many flying insects are quite active right now.

We took the dogs for their walk and I noticed how much the sun's
azimuth has changed. This was at 4:30 P.M.

Default Into Dusk

David, the photos are here, in this thread. Try another browser.
Another computer. If others cannot see them, then a discussion
on what is being used for the net may be helpful.

Found some morning glory taking in the 5:30 P.M. light!

I'll be watching this scene, which has potential. I'll call it
"Mauve and Leaf."

Main Street was busy for a while.

Inflatable Halloween at Cole's Hardware!

Tonight I saw the Capitol Marquee, full of light, for the first time
in over a decade! Yes, the future looks bright for Bloomsburg!

AND warmer temps brought activity back to the fountain
at Market Square!
