Default Help Make Forest City the Pierogy Capital of America!

I hope this is allowed here... I'm a former resident of Wyoming (PA), a proud grandson of two coal miners - one from Wyoming and one from Lower Askam (Nanticoke) and brother of a Kings grad (that was for Paul).

I now live in Maryland and work in Baltimore with someone from Forest City, PA who asked us to help elect her hometown as Mrs. T's Capital of the Pierogy Pocket of America. The winning town receives $10,000, and if they win, they are hoping that the money would be donated to the Forest City Public Library for a much-needed technology update.

As was mentioned here a few months ago, Forest City holds an annual Old Home Week celebration, which now includes a pierogi eating contest.

Please go to the link below and vote for Forest City.

Mrs. T's Capital of the Pierogy Pocket of America

Thanks!

I had some Mrs. T's last night and remembered this thread. Of course, they weren't quite as good as Grandma made or the ones at our church picnic used to be, but considering how convenient they are, they're pretty darn close.

Thanks to everyone who is helping. You can vote once per day, and voting ends Friday at midnight.

Sorry to report, but Binghamton NY won again this year. I hope there's another chance for PA next year.
