2 Artists, Their Home, Their Work.
Dave and Deb Stabley opened their house for the weekend for a sale of their whimsical artwork, made mainly from clay.
They live 5 miles from Bloomsburg (as the crow flies!). We visited this afternoon. Our timing was good.
We were between crowds and able to chat for an hour or so.
The pavement ended and we traveled a short distance to their driveway.
We passed the woodshed....
And parked in front of their house, which they designed and built on fifty wooded acres.

Amazing! This was right up my alley! I was actually driving home from State College earlier this morning en route to work, and I definitely would have made it a point to scope this unique creative treasure trove out if I had known about it in advance. The amount of artistic talent inherent to folks in NEPA never ceases to amaze me.  |
